Compiled using current airplay data and trending stats (although trending may change in the coming week), this listing from Mark Harris Broadcast Consulting is both a projection of what the Top 30 on the next week's Super Sixy might look like, and a programming guide for the coming week for radio stations airing the Total Popular Music radio format to be proactive rather than reactive in scheduling music rotations.
Based on our projections, three songs will meet the criteria to move to TPM Recurrents next week, and have been removed from the Projections Monitor 30. Also, a fourth title, which is listed on this Projections Monitor 30, may or may not meet the criteria to be moved to TPM Recurrents next week, but is listed above based on the current projections. However, actual determinations for each song's potential move to recurrent status will depend on criteria in evidence later in the coming week, and may differ from the TotalProjectionsMonitor Top 30 for April 28.
Our criteria for moving songs to recurrent status include the usual (declining status, number of weeks, relative position), but also considers current status on our two main chart-influencing components. Because of these more complicated factors, it is possible that all four will move to recurrents, some will while others won't, or even that none of them will actually be transitioned to TPM Recurrents when final data is available.
As a general rule -- but to which there are exceptions -- a song will not move to recurrent status the first week after exiting the top 12 featured in our Daily Dozen updates. Exceptions are based on length of time on the Super Sixty and other usual criteria, plus cases in which the artist has a strong newer title in the top 20 of our main chart.
Ranks listed in the left column of the "Songs Currently Projected to Move to TPM Recurrents for April 28, 2013" below are from the original run of the "Projections Monitor 30" before removing those three titles. The rank for "Song Listed on Projections Monitor Which May Move to TPM Recurrents for April 28, 2013" is that which appears on the final published Projections Monitor chart on this page.
