After taking over TPM Number One one day ago with a margin of just 79 plays, Bruno Mars' WHEN I WAS YOUR MAN sees its lead widen to 521 total plays today, as MAN gains another 124, and the song it ousted, Maroon 5's DAYLIGHT, loses another 318, slipping below 20,000. Can Bruno's latest do what DAYLIGHT couldn't -- top 21,000 -- last accomplished by Taylor Swift's I KNEW YOU WERE TROUBLE. Maroon 5's most recent TPM topper came within less than 100 of topping 21,000 right before losses began ... Our new number three -- Justin Timberlake's SUIT AND TIE -- keeps gaining, today surpassing 15,000 total plays for the first time ... Before this week is over, STAY from Rihanna with Mikky Ekko could be up 6-4, continuing to gain rapidly behind two losing titles, but the first step of that ascension is still at least a couple of days away ... Now that Top 40 Radio has finally accepted Mumord and Sons, I WILL WAIT has become their biggest TPM Hit to date. It appears set to rise 9-8 tomorrow.
