This could well be a week of gradual airplay losses for Robin Thicke's BLURRED LINES, today -135, and just barely still above 23,000 -- but until it slips below 22K, BLURRED is unlikely to be ousted from TPM Number One. Robin Thicke's "TPM Super Summer Song of 2013" set the record for 22,000 before reaching another thousand total plays above that ... The song that could crack the 22 thousand barrier is on its way. Just one day after a #14 debut on the new Super Sixty, Katy Perry's ROAR today adds 733 to its Sunday total, and leaps past WE CAN'T STOP/Miley Cyrus (which was at #13) and Justin Timberlake's MIRRORS, as Katy returns to Today's Twelve at #12. ROAR almost certainly will be Top 10 before this week is over. Meanwhile, after a stellar run (including time at TPM Number One) -- without being a bad reflection on Justin Timberlake, MIRRORS exits the Daily Dozen. (JT himself is busy taking back the night!) ... Maroon 5's LOVE SOMEBODY, +146, today is only 157 plays away from becoming our new runner-up -- and frankly, that is likely to be its limit.
