Although there's still an unusually strong battle at the top of Total Popular Music, Robin Thicke's BLURRED LINES begins a first full week at Number One on the new Super Sixty for the week of July 21, 2013, now online. This week's second biggest gainer, +1874 total plays, BLURRED LINES has passed Imagine Dragons' RADIOACTIVE which held the top spot for the past two weeks, even though the latter remains one of our Top TPM Gainers, +1070 plays. Together they leave Daft Punk's GET LUCKY stuck at third despite its gain of 1111 total plays across the components of Total Popular Music ... This week's greatest gainer is last week's TPM Big Breaker, Justin Timberlake's TAKE BACK THE NIGHT, +2615, which leaps 49-25 on the new Super Sixty ... Rounding out the five biggest airplay gains -- third, Maroon 5's LOVE SOMEBODY, +1609, up 6-4; Anna Kendrick's CUPS, +1521, 14-9; and Capital Cities' SAFE AND SOUND, +1457, 18-16 ... Also adding more than a thousand are WE CAN'T STOP/Miley Cyrus, +1339, 20-19 - SAME LOVE/Macklemore and Ryan Lewis with Mary Lambert, +1263, 19-18 - RIGHT NOW/Rihanna with David Guetta, +1065, 22-20 - and, last week's TPM Sureshot, entering the Sixty at #48, TRUE LOVE from P!nk with Lily Allen ... The 12th greatest of this week's 20 Top TPM Gainers is Bruno Mars' TREASURE, +996, up 8-6, followed by Zedd's CLARITY with Foxes, +959, 13-10 ... The highest entry on the new Super Sixty, at #42, after a couple of weeks as Hitbound following its introduction as a TPM Sureshot several weeks ago, is EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED from Taylor Swift with Ed Sheeran, +947 total plays.
