How much longer will JUST GIVE ME A REASON be at the top of TPMusic? According to the new edition of our Projections Monitor, after just starting a third week at TPM Number One, a fourth week is in its future. Today, the P!nk/Nate Ruess team-up is -52 plays, but still above the record-breaking 22,000 marker it hit last week ... STAY, -66, is still set to stay where it is for a while making Rihanna and Mikky Ekko still the holders of our runner-up position ... But Justin Timberlake's MIRRORS -- now third of the "Big 3" -- continues on track to eventually move up to second -- and ultimately be the successor to JUST GIVE ME A REASON at Number One ... We expected this to happen, but after it missed yesterday's deadline for the new weekly Super Sixty thought it was still a couple of days away -- CAN'T HOLD US from Macklemore and Ryan Lewis with Ray Dalton, today +207 plays from Sunday, jumps ahead of Demi Lovato's HEART ATTACK, +136 day-to-day. CAN'T HOLD US -- still aiming to be Justin Timberlake's spoiler, today rises 6-5, while HEART ATTACK is pushed back 5-6 ... Icona Pop (not to mention Charli XCX) is/are just a day or two away from an 8-7 move with I LOVE IT. (But do they care?) ... And Taylor Swift's "22" -- after a week of small gains -- picks up momentum again, +160 from Sunday, and should soon ascend 10-9 (andmaybe even to 8 later in the week) ... Will two songs make their first appearances in the Daily Dozen before the week ends? (The TPM Projections Monitor says "yes" to that) ... We're keeping a close eye on COME AND GET IT/Selena Gomez and CRUISE/Florida Georgia Line ... The Top 12 Songs of the Day -- EVERY DAY -- from TOTAL Popular Music -- "The Original 21st Century Mass Appeal Hit Music Radio Format" (since 2007) -- From Mark Harris Broadcast Consulting.
