TPM Number One SuperHit ROAR returns to significant airplay gains today (+174). So again the question becomes "can Katy Perry's latest TPM Topper equal (or beat?) the ultimate new all-time record of 23,352 set by Robin Thicke's BLURRED LINES? (It's getting close!) Regardless, with a day to go and an advantage of 4,000-plus total plays over runner-up SAFE AND SOUND/Capital Cities, ROAR is now confirmed for a third week at the top of Total Popular Music on the new Super Sixty, due tomorrow ... Could Lorde's ROYALS, today +457, up this week 5-3, be considered a potential challenger for the TPM Penthouse? We wouldn't rule that out! ... We'd also have to consider Avicii's WAKE ME UP a possible contender for TPM #1. Today +299, it's up for the week 6-4 ...
