TPM Number One Now, Katy Perry's ROAR, continues growing its airplay total and its hold on the penthouse, today +428 and on its way to at least 21,000 by the end of the week -- likely even better than that ... Runner-up Capital Cities' SAFE AND SOUND also keeps on adding to its total plays tally, +291 from Monday ... Lana Del Rey's SUMMERTIME SADNESS, +233, indeed rises 7-6 today, and likely will have more upward moves before the week ends ... Avicii's WAKE ME UP, +239, up yesterday 11-9 should have advanced 9-8 today -- but doesn't. The spoiler is Lorde's ROYALS, +358, which jumps ahead and rises 10-8 today after a 12-10 move yesterday. These two rising gainers, along with SADNESS are the songs to watch for upward positional shifting this week ... As Anna Kendrick's CUPS (down 10-12 yesterday) continues major losses, just below Today's Twelve, Lady Gaga's APPLAUSE gains to be only 500 plays behind CUPS -- with a current average daily turnaround rate between them of better than 400. It sure looks like "When I'm Gone" will soon be gone, and Gaga will hear some applause for her return to the Daily Dozen after too long an absence!
