The Lumineers' HO HEY continues moving toward a possible challenge to Bruno Mars' LOCKED OUT OF HEAVEN, but still has a substantial TotalPlaysMonitored gap to close (even though HO HEY is #1 at our Hot Adult component and #2 at the CHR-Top40 component). LOCKED remains locked into TPM Number One, with a tally that's 2704 total plays ahead of the runner-up's. That differential is down, but still formidable. The Lumineers today pass 18,000 total plays ... Posting a strong total plays gain today is P!nk's I TRY, while Taylor Swift's I KNEW YOU WERE TROUBLE shows an even stronger gain (+425). Could Taylor soon pass P!nk? ... Ed Sheeran's THE A TEAM is still adding moderate daily gains and today tops 12,000 for the first time ... A nice gain is in evidence for Flo Rida's I CRY, which positionally recovers 10-9, after slipping 8-10 last week ... The Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj collaboration, BEAUTY AND A BEAT, appears on its way into our Top 10 (soon!), adding another 242 plays from a day ago ...
