Monday's Daily Dozen (Dec 17, 2012)

After more than a week at TPM Number One, Bruno Mars' LOCKED OUT OF HEAVEN takes over the top position at our CHR-Top40 component, and sees its TPM total plays tally climb to just six (6) short of 19,000 ... We had to check this carefully: Ke$ha's DIE YOUNG loses 851 plays from a day ago, falling to 16,448 plays across our components. Has burnout hit it? It's still our runner-up (for now) ... There's no immediate contender in sight to challenge LOCKED OUT OF HEAVEN -- so who is in line for the next runner-up? Smart money is betting on The Lumineers' HO HEY, adding another 357 total plays day-to-day ... One day late for the new weekly Super Sixty, Ed Sheeran's THE A TEAM rises 12-11, thanks to an additional 224 plays, and a large -389 loss for Alex Clare's TOO CLOSE ... Today up 14-13 below the Dozen, Taylor Swift's I KNEW YOU WERE TROUBLE appears set to be the next to pass TOO CLOSE -- though TROUBLE isn't close enough yet, but it won't be too long ... The Top 12 Songs of the Day, every day, from TOTAL Popular Music - 'The NEW Mass Appeal Hit Music Radio Format!'
