Wednesday's Daily Dozen (Dec 19, 2012)

Bruno Mars' LOCKED OUT OF HEAVEN is locked into TPM Number One, still gaining, and still some 4,000 total plays in front of any other song ... Ke$ha's latest proven hit loses another 675 plays, while The Lumineers gain another 356. The result: we have a new runner-up for Total Popular Music! HO HEY passes DIE YOUNG by 18 plays today, a differential that's all but certain to increase (greatly) tomorrow. For the week so far, HO HEY is up 5-2 after advancing to third a day ago ... The next to (soon) pass Ke$ha is likely Rihanna's DIAMONDS ... TRY passes I CRY. P!nk's newest TPM SuperHit remains unstoppable, adding another 251 to its total plays tally, enabling it to advance above Flo Rida's still gaining (although more slowly now) entry ... Now that Top 40 Radio has finally fully accepted them, Phillip Phillips' HOME (our #6) and Ed Sheeran's THE A TEAM (TPM #11) both continue showing major daily gains ... And spank the Daily Dozen's bottom! Alex Clare's TOO CLOSE is only a day away from exiting after a long run, as Taylor Swift's SuperGaining I KNEW YOU WERE TROUBLE today is just 79 plays behind Alex ... The Top 12 Songs of the Day, every day, from TOTAL Popular Music - 'The NEW Mass Appeal Hit Music Radio Format!'
