Tuesday's Daily Dozen (Dec 18, 2012)

TPM Number One SuperHit LOCKED OUT OF HEAVEN from Bruno Mars passes 19,000 total plays across our component formats, and likely hasn't peaked yet ... Ke$ha's latest (still our runner-up) loses another 650 plays for a two-day total of 1500. Yes, it was on the losing trend already, but the recent massive losses are the result of many stations temporarily pulling DIE YOUNG in the wake of the horrific tragedy in Connecticut. We don't know if Ke$ha will recoup some of those (very appropriate) losses after a respectful amount of time ... The Lumineers' HO HEY leaps ahead of Rihanna's DIAMONDS, while Maroon 5's ONE MORE NIGHT slips below DIAMONDS. The net result: HO HEY is up 5-3, DIAMONDS remains in the fourth position, and ONE MORE NIGHT is down 3-5 ... Posting total plays gains and going for positional climbs: Phillip Phillips' HOME, Flo Rida's I CRY, P!nk's TRY, and Ed Sheeran's THE A TEAM ... The Top 12 Songs of the Day, every day, from TOTAL Popular Music - 'The NEW Mass Appeal Hit Music Radio Format!'
