Saturday's TPM Hit Music Daily Dozen (Dec. 29, 2012)

With only one day until our new weekly charts are published, Bruno Mars' LOCKED OUT OF HEAVEN is all but guaranteed a fourth week at Number One on the Super Sixty -- starting the day today with a lead of 3030 total plays over runner-up HO HEY from The Lumineers. Both post gains of more than 100 plays today ... Rihanna's DIAMONDS again falters in the third position, losing 12 plays from yesterday ... Phillip Phillips' HOME, recently up 5-4, again shows a moderate gain ... Flo Rida's I CRY adds another 39 plays day-to-day, but that pales in comparison to a 139 gain for Taylor Swift's I KNEW YOU WERE TROUBLE. Taylor passes Flo Rida, with TROUBLE up 8-7 from Friday, 12-7 for the week to date. I CRY is down 7-8 day-to-day, but still up 10-8 for this week ... Ed Sheeran's THE A TEAM, up this week 11-9, adds 106 total plays from Friday, and now hits a new high tally after recovering from holiday programming related losses that affected almost all of the songs in the Dozen ... The Top 12 Songs of the Day, every day, from TOTAL Popular Music - 'The NEW Mass Appeal Hit Music Radio Format!' - A Service of Mark Harris Broadcast Consulting.
